WRIST PAINPerformed daily, the following acupressure treatment will ease pain and inflammation stemming from carpal tunnel syndrome and/or tendinitis. Using the opposite (nonpainful) hand, stimulate two spots two-and-one-half finger widths from the wrist crease-one in the center of the outer forearm, the other in the center of the inner forearm. Press these points simultaneously by using the thumb on one point and the fingers on the other. If stimulating these points hurts the hand applying the pressure-a common problem for people with tendinitis-press using the knuckles instead of the fingers. THE COMMON COLD Place your middle fingers beside the nostrils and your index fingers next to them, at the base of the cheekbone directly below the eye. Press upward to relieve sinus pain and congestion. Back Pain Insomnia Headache Constipation Nausea Hiccups Menstrual Pain |
